Tenant-based residential assistance can provide temporary rental assistance to low-income New Rochelle residents adversely affected by COVID-19
Applications will be accepted starting June 1, 2021, at 9 a.m.
The New York State Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP), from the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, will provide significant economic relief to help low and moderate-income households at risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability by providing rental arrears, temporary rental assistance, and utility arrears assistance. Both tenants and landlords may apply for ERAP.
